The ash wood handle is beautifully smooth and feels warm in the hand—even after a long chopping session, no fatigue. The hardened steel blade cuts through herbs and veg effortlessly, and it’s clearly made to last a lifetime.

The blade came out of the box razor sharp and glides through a full loaf of sourdough in two clean pulls. The Solingen steel feels properly hefty, and the extra width makes it my go-to for chopping herbs by the handful.
