Wiegemesser Soul groß mit Holzgriff aus Esche

The hardened steel blade has kept its edge through a month of daily chopping, and the balance on that solid ash handle makes mincing herbs feel almost effortless. It’s heavier than my old knife, but that’s exactly what I wanted for the price—handcrafted in Solingen really shows in the finish.

The ash wood handle fits my hand perfectly—no slipping even when my fingers get a bit oily from prepping dinner. The hardened steel blade keeps its edge through a whole weekend of chopping herbs, nuts, and garlic without needing a touch-up.

The blade glides through herbs and vegetables with almost no resistance—the hardened steel keeps its edge far longer than my old knives. The rocker motion feels natural, and the handcrafted balance from Solingen is immediately noticeable.
