The little teeth on the triangle edge grip the stem base so firmly that strawberry tops pop off in one clean twist, no squishing. I've also used it to scoop out tomato cores for stuffing, and it leaves the flesh perfectly intact.

I was skeptical about the triangle shape, but the textured biting surface actually pulls strawberry stems out cleanly in one motion. It works just as well for coring apple halves for baking.
