The stand base really helps keep everything steady while you crank, and even my kids can use it without the whole thing sliding around. Only gripe is the blades are a bit tricky to clean after a big batch of carrots, but the 6 cm ribbon results are worth it.

The spiral cuts come out beautifully long and even, just like the 6 cm width promised. It does need a firm hand on the stand to keep it steady, but once you get the rhythm, it’s quick and satisfying.

Works fine when you push the vegetable down firmly onto the stand, but the 6 cm wide spiral comes out a bit uneven if the veggie isn't perfectly straight. Takes some practice to get the endless garland effect without stopping mid-way, though the result is decent for the price.
