The zangenschäler grip makes it feel almost like a pair of scissors, and the blade really does follow the spear’s curve without snapping it. Cleans up a whole bunch of asparagus in half the time I used to spend with a regular peeler.

The triangle shape took me a minute to get used to, but now I’m flying through asparagus without a single broken spear. The special blade really does glide cleanly, and it feels incredibly sturdy in the hand — exactly what you’d expect from a Solingen-made tool.
