Finally got the square ring to replace my round one and it's great for those neat individual portions. The compact size works perfectly for plating sides like rice or mashed potatoes.

The 7.5 x 7.5 cm size is just right for plating single portions of tartare, and the square edges give me really clean lines without any wobble. I've used it for layered desserts too and nothing sticks. Solid little tool for the price.

Been using it to shape rice for my lunch bowls and the 7.5 cm square size is perfect for one portion. Corners stay crisp and nothing leaks out, which I didn't expect from something this simple.
