The blade flexes just right for scraping the last bit of butter out of the jar without bending at the handle. Feels solid and well-balanced, exactly what you'd expect from a proper Solingen piece.
This is my third butter knife of this kind and the wide, flexible blade from Solingen is exactly what I hoped for. Spreading cold butter on fresh bread without tearing it is finally effortless.
